Of Blog Addiction and Remembering Maddie!

So I have become a total blog addict!! And it is less with writing in my own, and more with reading the blogs of other people! I read them all the time when my kiddos are asleep and have come across many inspiring people. One such woman is Kellie Staats, whose precious little girl Maddie died 1 month ago today. Her story has particularly touched my heart since her Maddie was born a day after my sweet princess. In honor off Maddie (who wore big bows a lot) my sweet baby girl wore her big green flower for St. Patrick's Day. (We do not have a big green bow)
This is the outfit that her big brother wore on his very first St. Paddy's Day.
Couldn't resist putting it on her!!!

This one looks like she is giving the o.k. sign... lol!
                                                        Such a pretty little girl!!

Kellie asked that in remembrance of Maddie we take our kiddos to the park and love on them extra. It decided to snow here for a while today so the park didn't happen, but we spent family time together and took some pictures!
                                                               My hubby and the kids!
                                                                 Me and the kids!!!
                                                          My princess and I!
                                                     Daddy and his baby girl!!
He tried to steal her flower!
                                                     Busted...lol.

That was the best pictures we could get of the two of them, before he decided he would rather play!

We are thinking of you always Maddie and we cannot wait to meet you in Heaven precious little angel baby!!!

Tough Work

By no means did I think that parenthood would be an easy task, but I never thought about the enormity of what it takes to raise a little person. To make sure that they are healthy and well-loved and well-behaved and are learning all the things they need to know to lead a wonderful life-- it is a huge task. I am challenged daily to figure out exactly how this is best accomplished, and I often feel like I fall short of my goals. But all I can do is the best I know how every day and hope that it is good enough! Mommy loves you my sweet babies. I am so very proud of the amazing little people you are becoming.  I pray that you know the love of family and above all the love of God, every day of your lives!
